Seven Tunisian men were sentenced for their attempts to join Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. Two men were given seven-year prison terms; the others will serve one or two years in prison. The men, who were arrested in November 2009, denied aspiring to join the terrorist organization and will appeal their sentences.
