A teenage female suicide bomber detonated near the entrance to Kano State Polytechnic in Kano, killing herself and five other people, and injuring seven more. It is the fourth suicide bombing carried out by a young woman in less than a week. Authorities also detained a 10-year-old girl in Katsina state found with explosives strapped to her body; she was in a car with a man and an 18-year-old female. Bombs planted in two mosques in Yobe state exploded last night, killing at least 13 people. Boko Haram is suspected in all of the attacks.
