Regime forces began sweeping Old Homs city for mines, and civilians returned, as the last 360 rebel fighters were evacuated. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham published photos of boys recruited as fighters in Aleppo. The Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Hama, Reef Dimashq, and Aleppo, where they were joined by the Jaysh al Mujahireen wal Ansar and Fajr al Sham. The sharia council in Aleppo tampered with the main water pump, cutting off water to parts of the city and environs. Islamic fighters clashed with regime forces in Deraa, Damascus, Hama, and Homs. ISIS fought against Kurdish YPG forces in Hasakah, and against Al Nusrah and the Islamic Front in Deir Izzour.
