Syrian military airstrikes targeting rebel fighters in Arsal killed two fighters and wounded 11. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham claimed the March 15 rocket attack on Labweh. Islamic Jihad has urged Hezbollah, the Amal movement, and Palestinian Islamist factions in Lebanon to develop a memorandum of understanding to help resolve tensions; the agreement is expected to be signed also by Hamas, Osbat al-Ansar, and by the spiritual leader of Islamists in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, Sheikh Jamal Khattab.
