The Abdullah Azzam Brigades said the killing of civilians in its Feb. 19 suicide attack at the Iranian Cultural Center in Beirut was due to an error. The group also said that its Marwan Hadid Brigades carried out a rocket attack jointly with the Al Nusrah Front in Lebanon in the Hermel area; it is the third joint attack claimed by the two groups. Gunmen in Sidon fired at security forces who were trying to arrest wanted members of the Hezbollah Resistance Brigades. Two rockets landed near a Hermel hospital and three hit in al-Qaa village. Shells from Syria landed in several towns in the Akkar area. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham claimed yesterday that it fired rockets into al-Labweh and al-Nabi Othman in the Bekaa valley. A kidnapped Bekaa valley boy was freed.
