An opposition activist group blamed the regime for bombardments that allegedly flattened three residential buildings in Aleppo and killed 61 people; the group said it was a war crime that should be referred to the International Criminal Court. A senior member of the Syrian National Coalition said the opposition had smuggled tissue samples out of Syria from alleged victims of the recent mass-casualty attack in Damascus; the SNC also said it would ensure the safety of UN investigators. The UN said the number of children who are refugees from Syria is now one million.
