On the five-year anniversary of the Krue Se massacre, militants in the southern provinces killed 10 people and wounded two others in six attacks, including an assault on a family of five. In the years since the Krue Se incident, more than 3,400 people have been killed in the southern provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Songkhla.
