Abu Bakar Bashir, the spiritual leader of the al Qaeda-allied Jemaah Islamiah, visited the three Bali bombers on death row. "I am worried there will be a huge disaster if Indonesia still wants to execute these three," Bashir said in a press conference. "Because they three are mujahid (Islamic fighters)." He served 30 months in jail for his involvement with the 2002 Bali bombings.
