Yesterday, Coalition and Afghan special operations teams targeted a military commander for the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan in the northern province of Kunduz. From the ISAF press release:
A combined Afghan and coalition security force detained one suspected insurgent while searching for an Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan leader in Kunduz district, Kunduz province, yesterday. The leader is a military commander involved in foreign fighter facilitation and training in Burkah district, Baghlan province.
ISAF has conduct two other raids against the IMU in the Afghan north this month; both raids were in Kunduz. Last month, ISAF targeted the IMU nine times in the Afghan north. The ISAF press releases on the two other raids this month are below:

In Khanabad district, Kunduz province, a combined Afghan and coalition security force detained numerous suspected insurgents during a search for an Islamic Movement Uzbekistan facilitator, yesterday. The facilitator is heavily involved in the movement of weapons and explosives for attacks throughout northern Afghanistan.

A combined Afghan and coalition security force killed two insurgents while searching for an Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan facilitator in Khanabad district, Kunduz province, yesterday. The targeted facilitator is responsible for coordinating suicide attacks throughout the province.
