(Philippines) Battered Marines vow to ‘finish off’ Abu Sayyaf
The Philippine military is pressing the fight against Abu Sayyaf on Jolo Island in the southern Sulu Archipelago. After deploying with U.S. troops late last week, and suffering casualties during an engagement with over 200 Abu Sayyaf, the Filipino military killed over 30 terrorists in an air strikes on Abu Sayyaf positions.
