The US added the Indian Mujahideen to the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The US State Department described the the terror group as “an India-based terrorist group with significant links to Pakistan.”
The terror group has been implicated as being behind numerous attacks inside India. The US said the Indian Mujahideen “maintains close ties” to Lashkar e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Harakat ul-Jihad-i-Islami.
