Turkish security forces detained four Syrians and a Turk after arresting eight people suspected of involvement in a deadly car bombing last month at the Cilvegözü border gate. Rebels attacked a key district in central Homs. The opposition Syrian National Coalition postponed a meeting to form a provisional government.
“The bombs that went off in Kabul and Khost yesterday were not a show of power to America, but were in service to America…” the Afghan president said.
