Agha Jan Mohtasim, the former Finance Minister during the Taliban regime and a son-in-law of Mullah Omar, is reported to have been detained along with three associates during a raid in Karachi. Mohtasim is considered to be a candidate to replace Mullah Baradar, the leader of the Quetta Shura.
