Iran has sent a new Qods Force officer to replace Hezbollah’s top military commander in Lebanon. Mohammad Rida Zahidi, also known as Hassan Mahdawy, has taken over Hezbollah’s operations and coordination with Syria after Imad Mughniyeh was assassinated in Damascus in February 2008.
