Security forces killed seven Taliban in Mohmand. Two civilians were wounded in a rocket attack in Peshawar. An oil tanker destined for Afghanistan was destroyed in Landi Kotal. US aircraft have been reported to be hovering in Baluchistan province. The Jamaat-e-Islami warned it would block NATO supplies moving through Peshawar starting Dec. 18.
The government treads lightly against Jamaat-ud-Dawa in the week since the group was declared a front for the Lashkar-e-Taiba.
