The US launched four airstrikes against a series of Islamic State targets near the Mosul Dam and Irbil. The Islamic State killed three Iraqi soldiers in a car bombing near Camp Speicher near Tikrit and executed three women in Mosul. The military said it killed 10 Islamic State fighters in an airstrike on a camp in the Hamrin Mountains.
