Prime Minister Mohamed Basindawa resigned as Shia Houthi rebels seized control of government buildings in the capital. Basindawa accused President Hadi of acting in an “autocratic” manner. The Interior Minister urged police to cooperate with the Houthis and described them as “friends.”
