President Obama is sending an additional 350 US military personnel to secure the US Embassy in Baghdad and support locations. The US now has an estimated 820 troops in country. Military officials claimed to have killed “dozens” of Islamic State fighters in Haditha and 11 more in an airstrike that targeted an Islamic State “headquarters in Zaidan.
