International coalition airstrikes targeted Islamic State headquarters and facilities in Deir Izzour, including oil wells under IS control; as well as oil refineries in Hasakah. Assad regime airstrikes in Deir Ezzor, Raqqah, Hasaka, Homs, Aleppo, and Idlib have declined over the past two days since coalition airstrikes began. Kurdish YPG forces clashed with the IS in Aleppo near Ayn al Arab, and in Hasakah. Regime forces recaptured Adra in Damascus from rebel forces led by the Islamic Front. The Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Jobar in Damascus, and in Morek in Hama. Al Nusrah executed three men yesterday in Idlib, and issued photos and tweets asserting that the group is operational following airstrikes near its headquarters in Idlib; the group also said it is preparing bombings in Hama, has captured areas around Arsal in Lebanon, and is planning a big attack in Qalamoun.
