Ansar al Sharia forces attacked an army camp in Benghazi but were repelled by Operation Dignity forces with airstrikes; one person was killed and 20 injured in the clash. Fighting in Tripoli between Islamist militants and Zintani militias loyal to the government spread to the suburbs of Janzour and Abu Saleem; some 60 technicals belonging to the Islamist forces were said to have been pinned down in Gasr Bin Gashir.
