The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham attacked regime forces in Raqqah, and clashed with the Al Nusrah Front and the Islamic Front in Deir Izzour. Al Nusrah executed an Islamic brigade commander in Deir Izzour who had sworn allegiance to ISIS. Al Nusrah and the Islamic Front battled regime forces in Reef Dimashq and in Homs. A car bombing in Homs city killed one person and injured 14. Regime aircraft attacked towns in Aleppo, including the Regiment 111 area, which is held by Al Nusrah. The Islamic Front also fought regime forces in Deraa, Hama, Idlib, and Latakia. An Islamic Front truck bombing in the Alawite village of Al Harra in Hama on June 20 killed 43 people, including 31 women and children. Over a dozen rebel groups in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta, including Al Nusrah, the Islam Army, and the Ajnad al Sham, agreed to form a unified judicial body.
