Yemen

The US killed four al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula operatives in a drone strike in the Wadi Abida area of Al Shabwa district in Marib. The two local al Qaeda leaders, identified as Ebad Mobarak Al Shabwani and Ja’afar Mohammad Jaber Al Shabwani, were killed in the strike.

Morocco

Security forces have dismantled a terrorist criminal network in Fez and Sefrou that used fraud and forgery to finance al Qaeda activities in Syria. The network was headed by an al Qaeda recruiter and included two known terrorists.
