Four al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula fighters and two Yemeni soldiers were killed as AQAP launched a suicide assault on a military base in Lawdar in Lahj province. Salafists from the Muslim Brotherhood clashed with Shia Houthis in the northern province of Al Jawf; 17 people are reported to have been killed over the past three days.
