A judge charged Ali Eid, the leader of the pro-Assad Arab Democratic Party, along with another party member, for helping a suspect wanted for the deadly Aug. 23 car bombings in Tripoli to escape into Syria. The judge also charged two other men, a Syrian and a Lebanese, in the case. Some of the 11 suspects charged so far allegedly have links to the ADP party and to Syrian Army intelligence.
