The military said it raided Boko Haram camps in Borno state and killed 50 militants. Earlier this week, Boko Haram militants attacked council headquarters in two villages in Borno state, killing at least 20 people and setting fire to schools, homes, and a clinic. A vigilante group claimed to have arrested 14 armed Boko Haram “informants” at a Maiduguri hospital who had penetrated security in disguise.
