A Muslim Brotherhood spokesman said that if the army and police fail to “properly” respond to attacks against the Brotherhood in upcoming protests, the Brotherhood will “utilize [the] right of self-defense.” Human Rights Watch charged the Muslim Brotherhood with promoting sectarian hatred.
