Police shot and killed a suspected Islamist terrorist in West Java after he tried to bomb a police station and shoot a policeman. The suspect was seeking to retaliate for a recent series of raids in West Java, Banten, Central Java, and Lampung that resulted in the deaths of three suspected terrorists and capture of others. The raids targeted the Mujahidin in Eastern Indonesia alliance as well as a group led by veteran jihadist Abu Umar.
