French Defense Minister LeDrian said in a visit to Mali that the mission is not over as it still needed to “restore Mali’s territorial integrity.” The Malian government created a 33-member “reconciliation and dialogue commission” to help restore peace and to investigate “cases of human rights violations committed in the country since the beginning of hostilities.”
