Seven Palestinians recently detained in Cairo for security reasons were deported to the Gaza Strip. Hamas’ Khaled Meshal met with the head of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Badie, in Cairo; the two reportedly discussed recent allegations that Hamas members were involved in a terror attack last August that killed 16 Egyptian soldiers. Two former Mubarak government ministers were acquitted of corruption charges.
