Boko Haram fighters attacked government offices, a police station, and a prison in Maiduguri. Three Boko Haram fighters who were killed in Maiduguri on March 5 were attempting to torch a school. An anonymous Boko Haram spokesman said “the group would “strike fear into the Christians of the power of Islam by kidnapping their women.”
