Nadeem Akhtar was sentenced to 37 months in prison for conspiring to illegally transfer nuclear materials. From 2005 to 2010, he worked with co-conspirators in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and New York to obtain “nuclear-related devices and equipment” for Pakistan.
