The Taliban killed six civilians in Laghman, two engineers in Faryab, a tribal leader in Nimroz, and an ISAF soldier in south. Security forces killed and captured several Taliban and Hizb-i-Islam Khalis commanders and fighters in Kandahar, Helmand, Ghazni, Paktia, Nangarhar, and Bamyan.
