The Taliban killed two bank guards in a suicide attack in Wardak, and killed an ISAF soldier in the south. Two ISAF soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash in the east. Security forces killed and captured several Taliban commanders and fighters in Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Khost, Paktika, Logar, Kunduz, and Balkh.
