Security forces killed and captured several Taliban commanders and fighters in Uruzgan, Kandahar, Zabul, Ghazni, Khost, Wardak, Nangarhar, and Baghlan. The Taliban killed two ISAF soldiers in the south, and killed a police chief and kidnapped a member of the provincial council in Bamyan.
