Pakistani Taliban leaders are out in full force this week in voicing their support for al Qaeda and vowing to conduct revenge attacks for the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of US SEALs and CIA operatives.
In the Al Jazeera video above, Omar Khalid, the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan’s leader in Mohmand, threatened both Pakistan and the US [more on Omar Khalid here].
“We will take revenge of Osama’s killing from the Pakistani government, its security forces, the Pakistani ISI, the CIA and the Americans, they are now on our hit list,” Khalid told Al Jazeera.
“Osama bin Laden has given us the ideology of Islam and Jihad, by his death we are not scattered but it has given us more strength to continue his mission.,” Khalid continued.
Also, Waliur Rehman Mehsud, the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan’s leader in South Waziristan, granted an interview with The Associated Press two days ago and said his followers “will continue jihad to complete his mission”:
“After the martyrdom of Sheik Osama, the mujahideen will continue jihad to complete his mission with a new zeal,” Rehman said, referring to his fighters.
“We have the same target, program and mission,” he added. “Our enemies are NATO, Jews and Christians.”

Rehman called bin Laden “a leader and flag carrier of jihad” and said his death was “a heartbreaking loss for us.”
“He was an invaluable asset because he stood with great zeal against the American and Zionist alliance,” Rehman said.

Why am I not surprised? So caught in hatred and fear that you can’t imagine doing anything else. I pity all jihadis. The World is passing you by and you can’t even see it.
Now, what are you going to do Pakistan? It looks like the ‘Frankenstein’ you’ve created is about to turn on its maker.
I still assert that we should have been along side India from day one of this thing. Hopefully now, our intelligence is working with India’s in unison and equanimity at least initially behind the scenes.
There’s no doubt in my mind that this could make all the difference in the world at least for that region in particular.
