General Petraeus testified to Congress on Afghanistan. The Taliban killed a provincial council member in Laghman and a high school principal in Nangarhar. Security forces killed and captured several Taliban, HIG, and IMU fighters in Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Khost, Paktika, and Logar.
