The Taliban killed four people in an armed attack in a mosque in Baghlan. Coalition and Afghan forces killed and captured several Taliban and Haqqani Network commanders and fighters in Kandahar, Zabul, Ghazni, Khost, Nimroz, and Kunar. Nineteen Taliban fighters surrendered in Helmand.
