Thai authorities arrested a key insurgent leader of the Runda Kumpulan Kecil separatist movement in a raid on his hideout in Yala™s Muang district. He is wanted for his connection to several bombings. An estimated 365 schools are closed for three days in Narathiwat province due to security concerns about the rising number of murders of teachers by insurgents.
