Four Taliban suicide bombers and a policemen were killed in a failed attack on a police outpost in Paktika. Afghan and Coalition forces detained an undisclosed number of Taliban fighters in Helmand and Kandahar. The Taliban killed an ISAF soldier in the south and hit a helicopter with RPG fire.
