Yemeni soldiers killed two al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula fighters and detained another after a shootout at a checkpoint in the western province of Hudaydah. The al Qaeda fighters reportedly tried to use fake identification cards from the Central Security and National Security Directorates. Security has been raised at oil and diplomatic facilities after the clash.
