The Taliban killed a British soldier in Helmand and wounded four children in a rocket attack in Kunar. Coalition and Afghan forces detained an undisclosed number of Taliban fighters in Helmand and Khost. The Afghan government denied it was banning live coverage of Taliban attacks and instead said it was drawing up guidelines for coverage.
