Suicide bombers killed seven soldiers and seven policemen in attacks on polling stations in Baghdad. Security forces detained 10 al Qaeda fighters involved in the March 3 attack in Baqubah and four Islamic State of Iraq fighters in Kirkuk. Violence in Iraq has not increased significantly in the run-up to the March 7 parliamentary election.
