Security forces killed nine Taliban fighters in Arakzai and detained three Lashkar-e-Jhangvi fighters in the suburbs of Karachi. A suicide bomber killed a member of the Abdullah Mehsud Group. The Lahore High Court ruled that AQ Khan could not discuss nuclear proliferation but said he is a free man.
