Security forces detained an Islamic State of Iraq cell leader in Bayji, two al Qaeda operatives in Baghdad, and three Naqshabandiya fighters in Kirkuk. Insurgents killed a civilian and wounded two more civilians and two soldiers in attacks in Mosul.
