Prime Minister Maliki’s party is leading in the early vote count. Security forces detained seven wanted men in Basrah, two al Qaeda leaders and two operatives in central Iraq, two Naqshabandiya fighters in Jalawlaa, and an Ansar al Sunnah cleric in Kirkuk.
