More than 60 Taliban and HIG fighters and 20 civilians have been reported killed in inter-Taliban fighting in Baghlan; 20 HIG fighters surrendered to the government after the battle. Security forces killed seven Taliban fighters in Helmand and captured a Taliban commander in Ghazni. The Taliban killed two ISAF soldiers in the South.
