More than 120 HIG fighters surrendered to the government in Baghlan after battling with the Taliban. The Taliban killed 11 civilians in bombings in Badghis. Two Taliban fighters were killed after conducting attacks in Khost City. Coalition and Afghan forces detained a Taliban commander, three facilitators, a Haqqani Network sub-commander, and an undisclosed number of fighters during raids in Helmand, Khost, Nangarhar, Paktika, and Zabul.
