Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Afghan Taliban’s second in command and the group’s operational commander, is reported to have been captured in Karachi. Two Taliban commanders confirmed Baradar was captured but in the Afghan city of Marja, while a spokesman denied Baradar was captured.
