Coalition aircraft killed more than a dozen Taliban fighters along the border with Pakistan. Coaltion and Afghan forces detained a Taliban sub-commander and an unspecified number of fighters in Logar and Nimroz. The governor of Kunduz said more than 280 Taliban and foreign fighters have been killed in the province over the past year. The Taliban wounded 10 civilians in an IED attack in Helmand.
