A suicide bomber killed 11 tribal police and eight civilians in an attack in Khyber. The Taliban killed a brigadier during an attempt to rescue two Cobra helicopter pilots in Khyber; the fate of the pilots is not known. The Taliban again denied Hakeemullah was killed; the interior minister said he was certain Hakeemullah is dead.
